Project Background

The project site is a factory in Bulgaria with continuous operations. The facility already had an 890kWp solar PV installation and required a storage system to support onsite energy use.

Challenge

The factory operates around the clock, with a maximum load of approximately 870kW and average daily load around 200-300kW. The project needed an energy storage system that could work with the existing PV system and support more flexible onsite energy management.

UZ Solution

UZ Energy deployed a 1MW / 2.088MWh C&I energy storage system designed to integrate with the site's existing solar PV installation and support continuous industrial operations.

Result

The system supports the factory's continuous operating profile and helps the site make better use of onsite solar generation through a dedicated C&I energy storage deployment.
